SiVad
has discovered that a great number of companies, in their efforts to
become more efficient and minimize staff have reduced the size of their
engineering teams for new projects and equipment design to the absolute
bare minimum. Most of the engineering and equipment support energies are
directed at repairing down equipment and looking for solutions to the
major manufacturing problems that they see occurring over and over again.
Once identified, the ability to these groups to actually design and
manufacture hardware to fix the problems again becomes limited because of
the constant need to repair and address the next piece of equipment that
comes down unexpectedly.
SiVad
was created to fill in the gap between project creation and
implementation of the idea to fix the problem. We provide the specialty
service of listening to ideas generated by the engineering and equipment
support personnel of a company and assisting them to design hardware,
tooling, fixtures, parts, etc. that will help them to fix the problems
that they see and would like to address.
We
provide the design and manufacturing expertise and experience to let them
create and generate the hardware they need to fix their problems. We
expand upon their problem solving creativity by allowing them to start
with an idea and fleshing it out into an actual working piece of
equipment that is manufactured precisely enough to solve the problem and
work well with few, if any, unexpected problems.
We do
research on materials and methods of manufacturing to assist in the
process of problem solving and have the luxury of being able to go
anywhere on earth to find the vendors that can support our efforts.
In some
respects, we offer the availability of time. Time to concentrate on a
given project without the day to day constant interruptions of a phone
call or a page letting us know that another crisis has arisen that
distracts us from the task at hand.
